There is a bug were the public override settings option is not taken into consideration when determining if address/phone/email and such should be displayed. I made the code change to Connections to honor this setting under your usage scenario.

This is not possible with the Excerpt Plus template… unless you change to “mode” as discussed on this doc page:
After you do this, you can use the Contact extension to display a contact email form on the single/profile view inn Excerpt Plus.
