Sorry to hear you are still having issues with Chrome, unfortunately there is nothing I can do to help with a browser issue other than keep searching others must be facing a similar issue and one of the solutions might eventually help.
In regards to the category select not working and not able to see what you are typing in the keywords search field. That is something I can help with.
- Did you try the conflict checks as suggested in my last reply?
- If you share a link to you directory page, I can take a closer look and possibly offer more specific advice.
