The best solution to this would to be to use a plugin which allows you to control widget visibility. Some possible plugins I found after a couple quick web searches:

• https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/
• https://wordpress.org/plugins/restrict-widgets/

The last two seem the most promising.
