There’s really only two ways to accomplish this. The first would to be name the entry in a way which will cause it to be at the top or using the Custom Entry Order extension. With the extension you can set the entry to order 1 so it will be pushed to the top of the list. I would recommend ordering by 10’s or even 100’s to allow you to slot an entry in between if needed in the future.
