After a panic-filled evening, including having found the fix you referenced on my own (which did not work as the file did not appear), I contacted WordPress support who deleted that file from their back end. Now, I’m kinda terrified to install any of the Connections updates.

I did not previously post re: the other issues because I figured them out before I could have received assistance. It’s just been tedious. Since I got this issue fixed after I contacted WP support that evening, I didn’t check the forum site until I saw the next update available today and even remembered that I tried to reach out. Thanks.
