First, you are going to need the cMap template. That is the template in use below the category image grid. After you install and activate cMap you would use its Template Customizer to disable the category drop down feature.

Yu need to make a few settings changes to Enhanced Categories. Navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Display tab. Scroll down to the Categories section.

  • Enable the Breadcrumb option.
  • Enable the Display option.
  • Set the Depth option to 1.
  • Enable the Display Children option.
  • Disable the Display Count option.
  • Enable the Hide Empty option.
  • Change the Display style to Image Grid.

All these option are right next to each other on the settings page. That should get results like the demo page.
