Please try taking the steps outlined in this FAQ and then set you s2Member role capabilities on the Connections : Roles admin page.

And…

Could you better define on what exactly does not work? You said; “it works perfectly for admin and subscriber roles etc, but not S2member roles“. So it is not really clear as to what is not working correctly.
