I do have a new add-on which can do exactly this. It is beta and will be improved in time. You can add it to the cart here..

There’s no info for it yet but usage is very easy. When installed and activated a new box on the add/edit admin page will display for a URL. Adding a URL to this will override the core entry link to be the entered URL.

I would consider this a functional beta. If you decide to purchase it, let me know any bugs you find or feature requests.
