I’m assuming you want two views, correct.
The first, a landing page, which displays only the category list.
The second, the results, a list of entries assigned the category the was click on the landing page.
Is this correct?
If it is…
On the members page use only the [connections_categories] shortcode.
On a second page use the, let s call it “Member” (notice lack of an trailing s), add on the the [connections] shortcode. Set this page as the Directory Home page.
No, when on the members page, only the list of categories will be displayed and when a link is clicked it will resolve to the sonce page showing only the entries for the category link which was clicked.
With this setup, I highly suggest turning off the category drop down feature in cMap as this setup will not work with it properly. The primary design is all this stuff is supposed to function on single page which is what most users expect and want. You can do this setup however, it just requires a little more setup and configuration
