Very, very, very, unlikely. The code edits I gave, they simply add a check to see if the option to require login to view is checked in the Settings or not. The code “behind” that code simply uses the WordPress Options API… so, basically as far away from anything image related as can be.

Not sure that is helpful, but I hope it is.
