Right, there is not a solution available that specifically fills your needs. Others have modified a function in the template to output the details they’ve needed. So this is why you have not seen any specific solutions. Mostly these users have created their own custom function based on the $entry->getFamilyBlock(); to output more details than just the name and link. So this is what you’ll have to do too. I also provide customization services if you are interested.
