Sorry, not automatically. The image link is reserved for a manually added link. See the Assign option when adding a link. So, you could manually add the link to the entries own page. NOt elegant but it would work.

ps. You could always use CSS to make the link standout even more so the user will know to click it, but, I suspect they will already know.
