Well, no, there is a documented shortcode option :) … it is compatible/works with the exclude_category shortcode option. I do not have this documented on the doc page for the Enhanced Categories extension because I assumed people would expect it to just work with the “core” shortcode options. Would it help if this was mentioned on the doc page as well?
