Lori, you made a good point. We don’t want to use a work-around procedure that messes our entries up if Steven Zahm modifies the cMap code for how this is handled in the future. You got me thinking about possible solutions.
I wonder if the simplest approach, if Steven plans any programming work on this, would be for the cMap template to be modified to:-
* display the logo by default on the summary page, but if there is no logo, then display the photo on the summary page instead
… then we could continue to use the default display settings which display the logo on the summary page and the photo on the detail page, and it wouldn’t matter which image users uploaded as long as they uploaded one (either logo or photo) so that something would always appear on the summary page.
It’s just a thought and depends on Steven’s response. My guess is that everyone using cMap who has a mixture of organisations and individual listings is going to have this problem.
