What plugin are you using to manage renewals? I assume it is the same plugin you use to take payments, yes?

How are setting an expiry date in Connections?

There might be more questions I would need to know, but, in short, if other plugins you are using for membership, payments and renewals have actions that can be hooked into then it is possible to do what you want. I have actually done something very similar for another user but that was with the Restrict Content Pro plugin. When a membership expired, the Connections entry would be come unlisted unless they renewed. If they renewed after becoming unlisted, their entry would set to public again. This was of course a custom solution tailored to fit their exact usage. If you are interested, please contact me for a quote using the contact link at the very bottom of the page.
