This on my to do list. The way it work is those fields will become drop downs. They will however, still allow free text input for backward compatibility. To help prevent persuade the user to be consistent, the field will also be autocomplete. I suspect most will simply select an existing option after only have to type a few characters vs. having to type the entire name.
