I’ve tested the modified version and it works just fine.

It found my CPTs and their children etc. and I was able to select the correct CPT where I use the connections shortcode.

It (quite correctly) listed all of the CPTs that it found. However, this included some CPTs that had been created by other plugins (e.g. Advanced Custom Fields; Contact Form 7, FooGallery etc.) that define CPTs as part and parcel of their respective solution.

So for those that want to use your excellent plugin with CPTs, it might be an idea to warn them about these “unexpected” CPTs being listed in the selection field for Home / Page on Settings. Just a thought.
