The issue is because the a3 Lazy Load plugin has set the image opacity to zero. Probably the simplest fix is to add cn-image the the “Skip Images Classes” option in that plugins settings. My best guess is there plugin is not applying the lazy-loaded class to the Connections images. You’ll have to contact their support to find out why.
