In the Code Snippet you changed the shortcode name from [connections_edit_link] to [connections_edit_link_snippet]. When you rename a shortcode, you also need to update the shortcode on the page. I edit the page so the shortcode is [connections_edit_link_snippet]. I suggest not changing the shortcode name in the snippet.
