Just realized that it works on the first site – I am running multisite.

Did a network deactivate and tried to activate within the blog for which I need this plugin and I am getting other errors unrelated to Connections but something to do with WP stating that plugin requires 4.0 or later and PHP 5.4 or later but I am running WP 4.3.1 and PHP 5.6.14.
