I didn’t realize that Connections doesn’t integrate with site search. I will add copy to the search results page with a link to the directory. As a thought going forward, integration would be very helpful, since search is the most obvious solution to finding a particular person. I’m sure it would be a huge overhaul, but if Connections entries were a special post type would they be findable by site search?

We use Relevanssi to augment site search, to get “and” searches and synonyms.

The template is customized but not the Connections plugin itself. The custom template is installed as a separate plugin because that was the way to set it up when I built it – would it be better to install it elsewhere? I would like to get rid of the error message, looks kinda funky.
