You have errors in the shortcode…
To fix, first switch the editor to the Text tab.Make sure you do not have any HTML tags in or around the shortcode. If HTML is mixed in, that breaks the WP shortcode parser. If the shortcode or any of its options are copy/pasted into the Visual editor, the underlying HTML from the page it was copied from will also be pasted. This is not a Connections issue but rather how the Visual editor works.
All the shortcode options should be in lowercase. Example,

Although not strictly necessary, the shortcode option values should be either single or double quoted. Example,
Make sure straight quotes are being used. The WP shortcode parser does not support fancy quotes. This is very difficult to see on screen and come from copy/pasting from a webpage into the Visual editor. If you type your quotes manually into the Text editor the proper quotes will be used.
exclude_category shortcode option, when multiple ID/s are being excluded, you must use quotes. Example:
