First, I find this plugin to be quite handy.
Second, I realize I am reviving a topic that will not die, but I keep reading tantalizing statements of success in using Connections in a multisite and sharing all directories in every individual site in which the plugin is activated. However, I am not seeing this. We have an existing set of directories in a single site of the multisite install (e.g., /staff) and I wanted to make those directories available to every site in the multisite so I can avoid having to leave one site to list its staff directory (e.g., I want to use http://thesite.org/accounting/staff/ rather than leaving the context of the accounting site to use http://thesite.org/staff/accounting/).
Things I have done so far:
1) I have added…
define('CN MULTISITE ENABLED', FALSE);
… to my wp-config.php file.
2) I have turned off the network activation of Connections and enabled it in several of the individual sites I wish to have share the same database.
However, I am still only seeing the directories (under Connections > Manage) in the /staff site.
What am I missing?
Sincerely,
Ken
