If the custom field happens to a text field, sure, that’ll work fine but not all custom fields will be “text” fields.As an example, business hours. My thought is plugins that add custom fields should hook into the search hooks I previously mentioned and perform their own search since those plugins “know” what their data is.

To search the bio and notes fields … make sure you have those fields enabled on the Connections : Settings admin page under the search tab.
