re: I am NOT receiving notification of a new entry even though I have the checkmark ticked under the Form tab.
I suspect you’re testing while logged in. You will not be notified of entries you submit using Form if you’re logged in … after all, you would know that you submitted the entry :)
If that is not the case, then let me know. The issue is more than likely the host, not Connections. You can test that by using a email testing plugin such as WP-Mail-SMTP. You do not need to use it to setup SMTP, it has some pretty good feedback when sending a test email.
re: the link to add/edit entry is NOT showing up at the top of the directory. It was but no longer is since updating Connections.
You or someone else may have accidentally turned it off. See the last few steps in the installation instructions.
