I believe the conflicting plugin is Reviewer. I didn’t want to deactivate (temporarily) to test/confirm. I figured it is safer to let you do that since you know how deactivating it will affect your site.

If it is, since it is a commercial plugin, I would need a copy of it to see if it is the source of the conflict or a bug within Connections.

Tip: If you click the Text tab and then refresh the page, you get a text box that you can enter text into.
