The only easy solution is to use an undocumented beta feature in cMap. Add enable_category_multi_select=true to the [connections] shortcode so you have this [connections enable_category_multi_select=true] The you can add a Gender top level parent category and under it add the Female and Male categories. The user will then be able to select a location as well as a gender. Multiple locations too, in fact. The one thing … it’ll be missing a submit button leaving the user with no obvious way to submit their selections. Looks like you’ve altered cMap already so I’m guessing you’ll be able to add that submit button without to much trouble.
