I have a similar problem. I uploaded the Pro pack, so there are 16 Connections plugins listed on our site, but nowhere can we see the Connections tab in the site admin.

We receive this notice on the plugins page:
NOTICE: The Connections directory home page has not been set. Please set it now on the Connections : Settings page under the General tab.

And when we click on settings for the main Connections plugin, we receive this error:
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
(This error is on this page: http://alexapprise.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connections_settings).

I would have posted this in a new forum, but couldn’t find how to create my own thread.
