The idea behind this is to be able to create a jump-menu for users to chose a top category then display Connections drop-down list with only the sub-categories related to prior choice.
I might be overthinking it but I couldn’t find a better way to do it.
I have too many categories/sub-categories that I can’t have them all displayed at once.

Can I limit the drop-down to display only the root categories?
