hmmm… well, I logged in and clicked the update link on the Plugins admin page. It took a little longer than I am used to, but, I let it go for a good 30-60 seconds. WP finally reported Updated and changed the row to green like it normally does when updating plugins.

Everything seems to be working fine. I literally did nothing but look at the system info and then clicked the update now link. Not sure what to say other than for whatever reason it worked for me.
