There are not checkbox based solutions. That said, I do have a multi-category search solution I can provide you for a reasonable fee which would include installation and configuration. You can see it in action on this live production site:

The category selects are configurable and the zipcode search can be turned off.

This is also template neutral, can be used in combination when any of the templates.
