Go to the Connections : Settings admin page and go to the Images tab. Change the size of the medium image. That will affect the size of the image used in the template.

PS. Also, I highly suggest using the Default Entry Card template. One it’s responsive theme friendly. Two, the next update of Connections will be removing that template. It load the Default Entry Card template instead.
