For the question of the mobile address book, that might be possible if you look for a one way load the mobile address book into connections. The mobile address books I know (mostly Android) can be exported into a CSV list (mostly through the corresponding webapps: Google, Yahoo, …) and then you can use the CSV import extension to load. Might be really worth the small expense.
