The core WP shortcode to create galleries works just fine. Example: [gallery ids="4553,4502,923,244"]
A very quick way to generate the shortcode…
Add a new page, you do not need to save it.
Switch the post editor to the Text tab –> Important.
Click the Add Media button
Click the Create Gallery link.
Select the images you want in the gallery.
Click the Create a new gallery button.
Arrange the images in the order you want them to be displayed.
Click the Insert gallery button.
The shortcode will be inserted into the post editor. This can be pasted in the bio or notes field. Of course, you’ll need a template which supports showing the bio or notes field. A free on that comes with Connections is the Bio Entry card.
Connections does support custom fields, but there is no point and click way to add them. They need to be added via a plugin. Here are some examples of plugins that add custom fields (all are free):
- http://connections-pro.com/add-on/hours/
- http://connections-pro.com/add-on/income-level/
- http://connections-pro.com/add-on/languages/
Hope that helps.
