The font is being pickup from the theme, which is by design. This allows tighter theme integration. If you do not want the script, you’ll have to override the theme’s CSS. If you provide a link to your directory I can give you a CSS snippet that you can add to the en of the theme’s style.css to change the font-family used in Connections.
