ParticipantHi, I am using the category widget to display two parent categories with child categories under each. When I click a child category under the first parent, it returns incorrect results by duplicating the listings under both parents. I have checked all of my slugs and postings to make sure there are no duplicates and everything is categorized correctly. I have also tried re-saving the permalinks, as well as changing and re-saving a post to a category, to no avail. My main directory page is http://citysalonsuites.com/directory-main/

This is working correctly… on this page, you have the shortcode on it twice. You should only have the shortcode once. You will see a result for instance you add a shortcode to the page.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantI have the shortcode twice so that I can display one parent category with ID’s in a specific order, and below that, the second parent category, with a break in between each set. Is there another way to achieve this using only one shortcode instance?
It is confusing, because when you click, for example, “Eyelashes” under the Rockwall parent category in the widget, the results are correct, but when you click “Eyelashes” under the Plano parent category, the results are duplicated under both parents.

ParticipantNevermind, I have sorted it out as I don’t believe anyone will be landing on the page with the shortcode without seeing it sorted by selection. I will just give up on the ordered results since users can see them in order when visiting the parent category main pages. Thank you for your help! Love this plugin!

Yeap, I thought the same thing when looking at your setup which is why I recommended this. Sorry, I didn’t go into one of my long detailed (rambling) explanations :)

No problem! If you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!
