Is it possible to make a (hopefully) small adjustment on the Widget that shows all Categories? Is it possible to have an option to filter out Categories that have zero occurrences?
Thanks in advance!
Right now, this can only be done by making a small edit to the widgets plugin file. Open this file:
Look for line 190 which should be:
'show_empty' => TRUE,
Change it to:
'show_empty' => FALSE,
That should do the trick! Hope that helps!
Found the line and made the adjustment. Works as designed :)
Pretty flexible code!
Thanks Steve, was wondering about this myself. Would be nice to be able to use the shortcodes on widgets as well – I’m guessing that the vast majority of people would want to filter out ‘uncategorized’ since it’s not something we can delete.
Please consider adding this as an option to future releases so we can retain this setting if the widgets get updated in the future.
This is definitely going to a widget option in the next update to the Widget Pack.
