Provide option to display contact name for an organization list.
Remove the descriptor:”work” from the display, especially for an organization list. If the list type is organization, I already know that the contact information is a business, not a personal one.
and option to eliminate photos from displaying.
If a don’t up load photos, I get an annoying “no photo” messsage. There should be an option to turn it off without hacking at the php code.

All the templates are going to be refreshed to offer customization via setting options in the Connections shortcode. Both cMap 2.0 and Market 2.0 have been released with about 60 customization options. Those are in addition to around 25 option for Connections. In testing, I’ve had shortcodes long that the post content.
I see that you purchased Tile Plus, that template is next up to be refreshed. Please note, Tile Plus may not have as many custom options. Just want you to know now so you’re not disappointed. Please keep an eye on the Connections Dashboard admin page for the release announcement.
Seeing as the “No Photo” is part of the functional design of the Tile Plus template I may not include a way to turn it off.
What is the expected time frame for the refresh of Tile Plus with the additional customization options? Any chance it could be in the next couple of weeks to add a contact name?
I looked at the other templates, but they didn’t tile across…I took what I thought would be the easier option to customize the look.
Having the words” No photo” seems like a sub-optimal use of space, expecially for a layout where photos and maps are not needed or useful. Yes, in this age of social media we have all become crazed about connecting across the internet and humanizing ourselves and our business, but that’s not always necessary or desirable….case in point, the website is for a manufacturer who sells only to distributors who custom-build and install a product. Customer never travels to mfg location or distributor location, so no maps. All the customer needs is a name and a phone and fax number, a website, and an address to send a check. You should consider adding a simplier tiled template. Just my 2 cents!
And I give you very high marks on the user interface for adding new businesses. This is just what my client needs!

Yes, the update will come in the next few weeks. The actual updating is pretty fast, it’s the testing that takes awhile due to the number of options. As I’m updating, I will definitely take your request into consideration.
once they are already imputed, is there a way to change order of each entry ?

We have only started using your plug in and have really embraced it. We like the cMap template. In building a directory for our nonprofit site, it has become apparent that we could use more functionality. We would like to allow for a featured listing which we can highlight differently than regular listings. Think of it as listing of the week. Ideally we would like to list featured listings first and then everyone else afterward. Secondly, is it possible to change the search dropdown to be a series of checkboxes, where multiple categories could be selected? Could an additional subset be searched upon like geo-locale? Can FORM be used so that persons submitting content can update their content periodically? Lots of questions. Are you available for hire? Please advise. Thanks!
