ROT13 Email Encryption Pro Module provides a method to help protect email addresses from spam email harvester bots. The entire email address mailto anchor tag is encrypted using the ROT13 encryption method. As the page is being rendered a client side JavaScript will decode the email address. For end users that have JavaScript disabled there is a CSS fallback method.
- Connections 0.7.1.1 or newer is required.
- The getEmailAddressBlock() must be used as the encryption is apply as a filter run during this method.
- After successful payment you will receive an email to the address registered to your PayPal account. This email will contain a link to the download page and your download code.
- On the download page, enter the the email address used to make the purchase and the download code. Then click Submit. You will then be taken to the page where you can download the ROT13 Email Encryption Pro Module.
- Install the ROT13 Email Encryption Pro Module as you would any other WordPress plug-in.
- In the WordPress admin under the Plugins menu, select Add New.
- Click the Upload link and the top of the page.
- Browse to where you downloaded the ROT13 Email Encryption Pro Module zip file and select it.
- Click Install Now.
- On a successful installation click Activate Plugin.
